The total rest above is the accumulated rest in a day. In general, the table above is suitable for children with the age ranges listed. However, if you can look again at your child’s rest needs, there may be a difference of a few hours with your child’s rest needs.

Parents can get the benefit from using this table as a standard for a healthy amount of sleep for their children and for various stages of child development from day today.

Therefore, make sure your child gets adequate rest every day. There are three ways you can make so that your child gets enough quality sleep.

Make rest time a family priority. Understand the importance of rest time and how it can have a positive impact on your child and your family. As a parent, you must set an example for the child for this to show the child that it is part of a healthy lifestyle.

Have a daily routine. The same wake-up time, mealtime, nap time, and playtime will help your child feel safe and comfortable and help with a smooth sleeping time. For young children, it is a good idea to start early with bedtime routines such as brushes, books, beds.

Stay active all day long. Make sure your child has interesting and varied activities throughout the day to keep them active. This will help your child to rest easier and less fuss, especially in early childhood.
